A belated welcome to Dylan, Gareth, and Malik, now familiar faces at Monday evening sessions. Also to Carrie Anne, Maddy and Shania. Our newest member is Sam.
A reminder to new members – we swim every Monday, including half terms, except for Bank Holidays and during the month of August when many swimmers are on holiday.
We have said goodbye to Claire who now has a busy job and is continuing her acting. She was a regular competitor at galas and also took part in the Bath and Sheffield Special Olympics. Elaine also deserves a special mention for her time on the committee, at one point holding multiple posts, and also a familiar face on poolside at galas.
It was lovely to see Faye at the disco with her mum Celine who once again did an amazing job taking all the photographs. Many thanks from everyone.
A huge thank you to Joyce and her band of merry helpers for organising the disco which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. It was great to see so many members there. Thanks also to Eileen for the time consuming job of organising the trophies and certificates. Thank you to everyone for the raffle donations which raised just over £200.
